NEWS UPDATE

CDS SCHEME

The first Sunday of each month is important!
That is the day that we are open for can and bottle collection at the Rotary Shed (adjacent to the Mens Shed) in Ross St Tatura.  Please support us by delivering your cans and bottles to us on that day.
The latest projects to benefit are a solar project for low income families and also our farming brothers and sisters in QLD.  Both the Sacred Heart and the Primary Shool in Tatura have also been beneficiaries of donations from our club.

ART SHOW 2025 – NEWSFLASH

Wow! What a Show we have had this weekend!
We have had more people through the doors this weekend than ever before.
Starting with our Gala Opening with Heather Ewart from ABC Back Roads. Heather regaled us with some very entertaining stories of growing up in this area and her travels over her career.
This was followed by incredible music from Michael Lapina and Julia Alsop from Opera Australia singing not just opera, mostly songs from the shows that everyone knows – such powerful incredible voices.
Then Sunday afternoon we were entertained by Shep Sings, a delightful Community Choir from this area.
All of this on top of over 400 Artworks.
Thank you to all who attended, purchased art, raffle tickets or enjoyed a coffee from the cafe.
All have helped us raise funds to spread back into the community.

Now for the things that you really want to know.
Raffle Prize Winner: Graham Martin from Shepparton – he attended our opening night and purchased his ticket.
People’s Choice Winner: Marianne Scarvelis “I’m Looking @ EWE”
People’s Choice Second: Vida Pearson “In Amongst the Banksias”
School Art: Ella Lewis, Tatura Primary School “Two Friendly Cows”
